5th Annual Empty Bowls Event Was Held on
October 13, 2011 in Geneva & October 20, 2011 in Auburn
Many thanks to to all our sponsors and everyone that attended the Event. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2012.
Empty Bowls began in a Michigan High School classroom and has become a popular event to raise awareness of the effects of hunger and food insecurity. This event has also become a successful fund raising tool that provides essential financial support for helping people in need. Participants walk away with a commemorative Empty Bowl that serves as a reminder that hunger does indeed exist in our community.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the programs and services of Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes. Please help us help others!
