About Us …

Since 1982 Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes has served Ontario, Seneca and Cayuga counties by providing quality human service programs and by advocating for social justice.

We work with faith communities, government, elected officials, business leaders, and other human service organizations to meet human needs and effect public policy that addresses the needs of all people.

Together we make our community stronger, safer, and more inclusive.

Core Values

Respect for others and accepting all persons for their unique gifts, circumstances and needs; believing in the inherent worth and sacredness of each person.  We also recognize the incalculable worth and dignity of every human person.

Building integrity by seeking to affect wholeness in all our relationships, individually and organizationally and by keeping our word, and being faithful to those we serve.

Offering our services in a compassionate and comforting manner.

Hospitality that welcomes all, especially those most vulnerable and in need into an environment of dignity, safety and a sense of being “at home”.

Commitment to quality, by consistently aiming to achieve highest quality outcomes while practicing for innovation, collaboration and continuous quality improvement.

Being good stewards by utilizing our human, material, and financial resources in a responsible and accountable manner.
