- Accepts referrals only from the Department of Social Services
- Assist Clients with initial SSI application
- Provide advocacy and support
- Goal planning to support household during application process
- Acts as a third-party representative (not a rep payee)
- Makes referrals to, and works with, legal assistance as needed
- Provides information and referrals to meet individuals’ immediate needs
